BIOGRAPHY
From the eight years he studied at the School of Fine Arts. after attending night classes at the School of Fine Arts and Crafts Burjasot, Santiago Calatrava opened in 1969 to study architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He was awarded the National Prize of Architecture of the Ministry of Housing.
WORK AND PROJECTS
He worked as assistant professor at the Federal Institute of Technology. In 1983 he was awarded his first work, the Stadelhofen Railway Station, located near Zurich where he had established his office.
STYLE
He is considered an architect specializing in large structures. He received the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts in 1999.También has been named Honorary Doctor of twenty times.
