PABLO PICASSO



Pablo Ruiz and Picasso was born 25th October 1881 in Málaga, Spain, and he died 8th April 1973 in Mougins (France). He is known as Pablo Picasso. He was a Spanish´s painter and sculptor. He and other painters like Georges Braque and Juan Gris invented a new movement. It was called “Cubist Movement”.

He was one of the most important artist of XX century. He took parted in lot of artistic movements that it was spreades for all of the world. His paintings had influenced in other artists of his age. Picasso printed more than 2 thousands artwork that are in lots of museums and collections around Europe and all the world. In addition, he worked in other paintings´ countries, like drawing, engraved, illustration of some books, sculpture, ceramic, drawing of set design and wardrobe to some theatrical performance.

His father, Agustí Gasol, is a nurse and his mother, Marisa Sáez, doctor. Pau studied medicine for a few months but ended up leaving because he could not reconcile it with basketball, but maintains that his goal in life is to follow her mother's footsteps and become a doctor in future.

Is a Spanish Basketball player who plays for Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. He became the second Spanish to play in the NBA after Fernando Martin, the first to be chosen to play an All-Star Game NBA (Houston 2006), to qualify for the playoffs (with Memphis Grizzlies get the championship NBA (twice with Los Angeles Lakers).

From the eight years he studied at the School of Fine Arts. after attending night classes at the School of Fine Arts and Crafts Burjasot, Santiago Calatrava opened in 1969 to study architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He was awarded the National Prize of Architecture of the Ministry of Housing.

WORK AND PROJECTS
He worked as assistant professor at the Federal Institute of Technology. In 1983 he was awarded his first work, the Stadelhofen Railway Station, located near Zurich where he had established his office.
STYLE
He is considered an architect specializing in large structures. He received the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts in 1999.También has been named Honorary Doctor of twenty times.

FRANCISCO FRANCO


 Head of Spanish State during the dictatorship of 1939-75.Born in a middle class family fishing tradition(Ferrol, La Coruña, 4 of Dicember of 1892 – Madrid, 20 of November of 1975), Francisco Franco choose the military career, finishing in 1910 his studies in the Toledo's Infantry Academy. In 1923 he was already chief of the Legion, and in 1926 he became in the younger general of Europe. With conservative ideas, Franco especially valued order and authority. Distrusted parliamentary regime, liberalism and democracy, he thought they are the cause of the decline. It opened a civil war that would three years and take Franco to the power of the State. The 1 of October of 1936, his brothers in arms, gathered at a National Defense Council in Burgos, they choose him political and military chief of the rebellious side. He directed the war with conservative judgment, so far from quick war that advocated modern strategic doctrines. The unity imposed on their side contrasted with clashes that bled the side loyal to the Republic.

Born in San Nicolas neighborhood in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, son of José Carlos Encinas Doussinague of Cuban Spanish and Pilar Bardem, Bardem comes from a series of actors: his grandparents Rafael Bardem and Matilde Muñoz Sampedro, his mother Pilar and her brother Carlos are an example.
