my opinion on the project

My opinion as a coordinator is that this project was successful as it accomplished all its targets. The results are long-term lasting products which can be thoroughly used during our classes no matter the subject we teach.
For me, as English teacher, it was a revelatory experience. It helped motivate my students learn more as they were shown one of the uses of this foreign language. Chatting on the internet with their Comenius counterparts and actually meeting and living in their families increased their trust in the idea that English is really useful in communication and increased their self esteem as they were able to test their skills and discovered that they are good at English. I find the trivial very useful for my classes in the future.
I am more than satisfied with the organization of the project. We had no communicational problems with the partners, every partner involved did his job on time and did his best to organize the mobility in his country.
The coordinator tried to meet everybody´s requirements and was a bridge between all the other partners binding them together.
I hope we shall take this project further and we will find a way to continue our work together and remain in contact both on the personal and on professional levels.

Best,
Lily

Travel in Greece

In September, I went in Kilkis in Greece. I was stressed because it was a first time that I went in a country without my friends or my family.
When we arrived in Greece, a Greece teacher we brought in Kilkis in car. I was afraid because I did not understand Greece teacher. She spoke quickly!
When I saw my correspondent, I was not stressed because Kiki, my correspondent is a nice and beautiful girl, and her friends too. Her friends spoke and laughing with us. And his mother speak a little French, it was good for me to communicate
We visited a cave, Kilkis, a wine factory, a traditional food factory in Goumenissa, the Archaeological site of Vergena and Thessaloniki
Thanks to this travel, I progressed in English, and I learned to speak with different people. I learned different cultures.
If I could do this trip, I would like do again.
As for me, this travel was very enriching.

Visit to Turkey

Our last visit was to Turkey on Easter time 2014 and here I can tell you my own insights as I was one of the visitors. This time I would like to begin by thanking to our dear friend, Umran, the Turkish coordinator, who did her best to make our stay in Turkey fairy-tale like. It was an experience I will never forget. Turkey is a wonderful country with amazingly kind and warm people who made us feel we were on the journey of our lives.

I think these pictures speak for themselves so there is no need for further comments except that my headmaster, Molcalut Florentina and I, thank you for your hospitality and we express our kindest regards to the Turkish team from Buyukcemece.

Visit to Italy

Ciobanu Andreea Daniela, Cantoriu Elena, Nafareanu Georgiana and Jataru Diana were the students who represented Romania in Italy accompanied by their teachers, Valentina Pinzaru and Bianca Mitrea. According to their verbal accounts, Pina, the Italian coordinator, took motherly care of them and or that I am grateful. Italy had much to offer to them as culturally speaching, it is a rich remnant of the Roman Empire.

They enjoyed every second of their stay and were happy to be there. Our students still keep in touch with the Italian students not just as part of the Comenius project but also as good friends as I hope they will remain for ever! Thank you Pina for making this possible and for showing them Riccia!

The 2nd visit to Spain

This was dedicated mainly to students who chatted on the internet with their Spanish counterparts. As  their curiosity was stirred by this activity it was highly necessary to come and meet in person the people with whom they developed a relation of friendship virtually during an entire year. So once again, two teachers, Mitrea Bianca and Ciubotaru Vasile, accompanied five students from Romania, Gicoveanu Vladut, Modoranu Cosmin, Cristea Ionut, Besu Ana -Maria and Molcalut Ana-Maria to Spain where our coordinator received them with open arms and open mind to Alcala-la-Real.

All was nice, students liked the activities and were impressed by the cultural richness of this country.

So thank you for everything Spanish team!

Visit to Greece

Our colleagues, Valentina Pinzaru and Molcalut Florentina-Georgeta, with our students, Ciobanu Cornelia, Savin Andrei-Alexandru, State Petre-Robert and Tapu Andrei, visited Greece in September 2013. From their reports I know that they had a pleasant experience and they enjoyed their stay there. Cooking and eating the delicious traditional food was their favourite part of the journey.

Students, as well as teachers were involved in varied cultural and educational activities which helped them understand the culture and traditions of this country.

Teachers were received with honours by the mayor of the Kilkis town who congratulated both the event and the work in the Comenius project highlighting the importance of its results for the town.

Good job Georgia and the rest of the team! We appreciate your efforts and hope to see you again one day! Thank you!

Visit to France

The visit to France was interesting and instructional as well. Two of our teachers, Molcalut Florentina-Georgeta and Moraru Liana, went with two of our students, Olariu Andreea-Elena and State Petre-Robert, to see the beautiful town of Beuvry where the French coordinator Jose did his best at meeting their expectations and interests.

They enjoyed many educational activities, cooking, tasting their delicious meals and had the opportunity of making new friends while seeing again the old ones.

All in all it was a very pleasant meeting and we want to thank them for their hospitability and kindness towards our fellow colleagues and students.

First visit to Spain

Our first visit (October 2012) was a meeting of the coordinators in Spain. It is then when we established the lines of development for our future activities. I meet warm and intelligent people from Turkey, Greece, Italy and France. We became friends for life:

The Spanish people let us into their schools and at the same time into their wonderful souls. I felt comfortable and welcomed. Their food was delicious, their customs were interesting and entertaining and their students clever and interested in the project. That is why we decided there should be a second visit to Spain when students should be brought to see this country and make friends with the Spanish students.

Thank you for everything, dear Jose! The best coordinator ever!
