Travel diary in the mobility to Riccia (Italy)

Sunday 17th of March 2013

Today the day was very tired because we passed all the day traveling and in the airport. At night we went to Spagna square and we had dinner in a McDonald.

Monday 18^th of March 2013

In the morning we went to some places in Rome like the Fontana di Trevi, some different churches and other places and then we went to the airport to pick the Turkish and after that we went to the hotel in Riccia. At night we went to the school because there was a party with all the students and we met a lot of people.

Tuesday 19^th of March 2013

Today we went to Riccia to the town hall because the people of Riccia want to give us the welcome, then we went to a Italian house because this day was very important to their and all the family go to a house to eat 13 different dishes, after that we went to the school to do some activities to meet better all the students and finally we went to the hotel with some Greeks.

Wednesday 20 th of March 2013

Today we went to a town near Riccia called Campobasso, we saw the town and we went shopping, then we went to a shopping center and after that we went back to Riccia and we went to a bar in the square of the town.

Thursday 21^st of March 2013

Today we went to Napoles and Pompeya, firstly we went to Napoles and we saw the city, it is very beautiful , we saw a castle and some different places, after that we went to Pompeya but the ruins were closed so we went to see the city and went to have a coffe and finally we went back to Riccia and we went to a party with all the students.

Friday 22^nd of March 2013

Today we came back to Rome with the Turks, we went to the hotel and we went to ate in a restaurant near here,then we went to saw a lot of places in Rome like the Panteón or the Coliseo, after that we went with the Turkish to had dinner in a famous restaurant and finally we went to the hotel.

Saturday 23^rd of March 2013

Today we went to the Vaticano to see the museum and La capilla Sistina, then we went to La basilica de San Pedro and after that we went to the hotel. At night we went to have dinner in a japoness restaurant and then we wen to see La Fontana de trevi.

Sunday 24 th of March

We went to the airport and we were traveling all the day.

Almost ten days have passed since we left Riccia, Italy and I still see how happy our students are after having that experience.Visiting Italy was great for them , they are still excited and whenever they meet us they want to talk about it. It was a life changing trip, although they had problems in communicating. Many thanks to Anna Maria, The Principal, Pina, the coordinator, the students and their families for being so friendly.

Students activities in the mobility to Italy

Our first mobility with students in our Comenius Parnership "Gastronomy as an educational resource" was carried on the week of 18th to 21st of March in Riccia (Italy).
As the coordinator, I think for students visiting were a surprise to find so small village full of so many friendly students. Yes, sometimes not to speak english was a problem for communication but they managed to understand eachother, and in despite of that, I was very proud of the atmosphere that students and teachers could create. So thanks about that Pina and your students.

Also, as the coordinator consider that it's very important that in every mobility students have the opportonity to work together. So, teachers involved in the project prepared several activities carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday in the afternoon in the school. I must admit that I was expected very better results but it was nice to see how they worked together and so much they enjoyed.

Living Mobility in Italiy

Sunday 17^th  of March 2013

- We caught the plane Granda-Madrid and We had lunch in Madrid, then We caught the plane Madrid-Roma. In Roma, We caught the bus to the hotel. After... We went to the Spain's Square and We had dinner in a McDonald's. Finally We went back to hotel and We went to sleep. It was a very tired day.

Monday 18^th   of Marcha 2013

- We got up at 7:30 and We had lunch at 8:30. Then We visited a part of Roma, this was very very beautiful. After that, We ate in a panini's restaurant.We caught a bus with turkish's teacher and We went to collect the turkish's studients. Then We went to Riccia.In Riccia, We went to high school to the welcome and We were dancing for a long time. Finally We went back to hotel, We were speaking with greek's students and We went to sleep.

Tuesday 19^th of March 2013

- This day were very special in Italy because is the San Giuseppe's day. We wento to Town hall's Riccia. Then We went to a italian's house and there We had pray before and after eat and We drank wine. We started to eat thirteen plates and We finished at 5. Then We went to high school to do activities. Finally We went back to a hotel to sleep.

Wednesday 20^th of March 2013

- We got up and We went to Campobasso. The We ate a kebap in a comercial center and We were shopping. After that We caught the bus and went bach to Riccia todo activities again and then We had dinner. Finally We went to back to hotel to sleep.

Thursday 21^st os March 2013

-  We got up and We went to Nápoles.We visited the Castle's Nápoles. Then We cauhgt the bus to Pompeya and there We ate an italian's tipical food. After that We went back to Riccia to the goodbye party. At the end of the party all the people were crying because they were very sad . Finally We returned to hotel and sleep. 

Friday 22^nd of March 2013

- We got up and Greeks, Turkishs, Rumanians and Spanishs cauhgt the bus to Roma's airport. In the airport Greeks  went to catch the plane to Greece. The others went to Roma. Rumanian's went to Rumania. After eat, turkish and spanish visited Roma. We visited the Mausoleum and the Navona's Square. We had dinner in a pizzeria. We said goodbya to turkish's people and then We went to the hotel to sleep.

Saturday 23^rd of March 2013

- We were only the spanish's people and We caught the undergorund to go to Vaticano. There, We visited the Vaticano and the San Pedro's  Basilica. We saw the Sixtina Chapel, It is very beatiful and impresionant. Then We ate a sandwich in a stairs. We cauhgt the underground to went back to the hotel. Finally We had dinner in a japanese restaurant where the food were very delicius and after that,We went to the Trevi's Fountain and We went to sleep.

Sunday 24^th of March 2013

 - The last day.. We cauhgt the bus to go to the Roma's airport to catch the plane. We flew to Madrid and finally We flew to Granada and We saw our familys... We was very emotionals to saw them.
