Penélope Cruz Sánchez was born in Alcobedas (Madrid) on 28^th April in 1974. She is an actress and a Spanish model winner of "Oscar" prize, dedicated to cinemas roles. 
She has appeared in many films in Spanish language and in several films of other languages like English, Italian and French. Several of this productions have become in a really successful in Europe and America, and they have proporcionated to the actress other important prizes, a part of the "Oscar" that has national and international character she has won tres Premios Goya, a British BAFTA Prize, and the "David Prize".



Penélope Cruz is the only Spanish actress who has got stabilized and worked continuosly in the "English world". In 2006 she was the first Spanish actress to go to the ceremony of "Oscar's" and the "Golden Ballons". And in 2008 she has become in the first Spanish actress who win a "Oscar" as the best actress.
