Supersize me.

SUPERSIZE ME

Morgan Spurlock is the director and main protagonist in the movie Supersize me. He intends to show the bad effects eating McDonald’s menus on a regular basis can have in a person, and that is why he decides to eat nothing but McDonald’s menus during a month. He goes to different doctors and nutritionists at first to check his health is OK when he starts the experiment, and to have information to compare his levels of cholesterol and fat when the experiment is finished.

Days go by and it is sometimes difficult for him to follow this McDonalds diet. Sometimes he feels really sick; he suffers headaches and he feels that he doesn't have the same energy. He sometimes feels that he is sad for no reason, and he feels enormous cravings for McDonald’s food; he realizes he is becoming an addict.

At the same time he is on this diet, he investigates about American people eating habits and about children's food intake at schools. The conclusions are really negative: children eat lots of things they shouldn't be eating at schools and this is making them fat, and Americans are becoming fatter and fatter everyday because of the high amount of fast food they eat.

When the experiment is finished, Morgan has put on a lot of weigh, his health has been terribly harmed (liver, heart, cholesterol level, body fat, even his mood is worse now). The conclusion is obvious, we should try not to eat fast food at all; it is a great business for many people who are becoming rich thanks to this every day, but it is making us ill and fat every day.
