EXPERIENCES IN OUR PROJECT

Being selected to take part in the COMENIUS Project was an amazing experience for me. When we travelled to Italy, it wasn't only a great opportunity to bond with the other Greek students, but most of all, we were able to make new friends, get acquainted with the Italian language, food and culture. On the other hand, having two foreign students in my house was also a very exciting experience. I'm now a good friend of both the girls I hosted  and I got to know the other foreign students as well. Spending time with them made me realise how similar we all are. Yet we are all unique and our differences are only the cause of interest in getting to know one another and not the cause of discrimination or racism. In conclusion, this program taught us all how to interact with people and cultures different from ours. We also just happened to have a lot of fun along the way!

PS. I stayed in one of the Italian student's home. She made me feel very comfortable and introduced me to all her friends.
