Eat, Pray, Love

Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) is a woman who has just divorced because she was feeling unhappy.

Then she has a relationship with an younger actor (James Franco), but this only exacerbates Liz’s sense that she is far away from herself. Liz decides to take a year abroad, as a single traveller: four months in Italy, then four months to an ashram in India and some other four months in Indonesia, to cure her soul.

In Rome she visits trattorias, ruins and then meets a Swedish woman called Sofi (Tuva Novotny). In Italy Liz discovers the pleasures of eating and resting properly, of „dolce farniente”.
