Situated in Normandy between Le Havre and Fécamp,
Etretat is a sea resort known for the cliffs which his shingle beach. A lot of
walks are possible with a magnificent view.
The left-hand side of the beach is lined by the cliff of Aval (approval; downstream). Since the crest of laporte of Aval, this famous strangely cut rocky arch, the sight is magnificent. You admire the massive arc of Manneporte in the monumental architecture, the peak which, solitary, high of 70 meters, and finally the cliff of Amont (upstream).
